Pesach is a time for celebration and renewal. It is also a time for cleaning, and during this time when most families focus on their Pesach cleaning and spring-cleaning combined, poisoning and injuries from contact with cleaning agents and corrosive substances are high. Scalding injuries also occur due to the utensil kashering process involving large quantities of extremely hot water.
