FIRE SAFETY
Fire-safety measures can prevent tragedies and save lives. Keren Yosef collaborates with the Israeli Fire department to promote fire-safety in homes, institutions and the community.
Keren Yosef presents fire-safety events where the community is invited to participate in a presentation given by senior fire-fighters.
The community was invited to bring their own electrical household devices such as Shabbat urns, hot plates etc, to be checked by an expert electrician for an estimation of the safety of the devices at use.
Together with the local fire department, Keren Yosef initiated the annual "Fire Safety Week" with special exhibitions, workshops and safety demonstrations that has become a model for other towns in Israel.
